April 25, 2021 From Your Pastor

His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master. Matthew 25:21

Isn't it a great feeling to achieve success after working hard on a task or important goal. You find a sense of satisfaction and contentment. But these feelings of success can never compare to the feelings and emotions of succeeding in the accomplishment of God's goal for your life.

If you know the Bible at all, you realize that Jesus is comin again, and that we believe it will be soon. With this knowledge Jesus is not asking you to quit your job and serve Him full-time. Instead, you are to be used of Him where you are right now. Put to use your gifts, talents, and time to serve now at your job, school, or home.

Remember as you work your job, it is not about how much or how little your earn, it is about your faithfulness in fulfilling the potential God has given to you. When you show Him that you can be a good steward of those gifts, then you too will enter into the joy of your Master. Sadly the true joy of salvation is only realized by the few who accomplish this faithfulness. Why not you? Go from this place today and make a difference for God, wherever you are!

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10
